Balvenie Spey Trip in the Donovan Bar

Donovan Bar at Brown’s Hotel presents a unique flavour of Balvenie whisky called ‘The Spey Trip’ for their honored guests. The name ‘Spey Trip’ was inspired by the marvelous journey by the top London bar's team in open canoes. This serene journey led them to the distillery to meet the team of craftsmen who make The Balvenie.

All the decorations of this delicious as well as the unique serving have been crafted by re-valuing and retouching materials found by The Donovan Bar team at the distillery. Copper from the stills is used to make the label, the stand and the bottles are made by wood from casks in the cooperage. These bottles would have been filled with The Balvenie single malt whisky if not filled with ‘The Spey Trip’.

The serve is a fantastic combination of some majestic ingredients. The Donovan Bar team puts special effort in order to make a classic balance among the ingredients that includes 70ml Balvenie Whisky, 10ml fig syrup, few drops of Donovan Bitters, garnished dried fig. The outcome is one unique serve that can provide a pleasant taste.

With a list of over 60 different cocktails complemented by a wide selection of wines and Champagnes, Donovan Bar can cater for 60 people at a time. You can enjoy glasses of wines and Champagnes from Monday to Saturday from 11am to 1am. On Sunday the bar is open from 12 noon to midnight. And the good news is you only need to spend £20.50 for per serve of ‘The Spey Trip’.
