HIX Mayfair

Celebrates British food and art.  Executive Chef, Lee Streeton and Director of Food, Mark Hix, have created an outstanding menu featuring great British classics alongside many lighter fish dishes - all using carefully sourced local, seasonal ingredients.  HIX Mayfair is home to an amazing collection of work by leading British artists including Tracey Emin, Michael Landy and Bridget Riley.

The English Tea Room

Serves one of the most famous afternoon teas in London and a selection of lighter meals throughout the day.  Voted ‘Top London Afternoon Tea 2009’ by The Tea Guild, the award-winning Traditional Afternoon Tea consists of a choice of 17 teas, including Brown’s own blend, along with delicious finger sandwiches, an assortment of delicate pastries, fruit and plain scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, as well as freshly baked cakes from the trolley.  Also on offer is the 'TEA-TOX', a healthy version of their award-winning Traditional Afternoon Tea.  A pianist plays throughout.

The Donovan Bar

Pays homage to the celebrated British photographer Terence Donovan and is lined with over 50 of his iconic black and white prints. A wide range of cocktails, wines and Champagnes are offered, alongside a menu of Hix bar snacks.

English Tea Room

The English Tea Room at Brown’s Hotel with award winning Afternoon Tea is served to the accompaniment of live piano music - guests can indulge in a choice of 17 teas, including Brown’s own blend, along with a selection of succulent finger sandwiches, an assortment of delicate pastries, fruit and plain scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, as well as a choice of freshly baked cakes from the trolley.

Brown’s Hotel offers a series of seasonal menus, allowing you to choose from a variation of specially selected dishes. Should any of your guests be vegetarian or have special dietary requirements, we would be pleased to arrange suitable dishes for them. Our Executive Chef, Marcus Verberne, would be delighted to personally meet with you and discuss any requirements you may have. He would also be pleased to tailor-make your private dining event to your specific requirements.
