As a part of the visit, the chefs will each contribute to a one-time menu for ‘Sunday Lunch’ in aid of Beyond Food Foundation on July 20th 2014. The lunch will have three courses that represent classic dishes from the UK representative’s cuisine. Drinks and canapés will be served from 1pm where attendees can mingle with the chefs and savour the dishes served at the Kings, Queens & Presidents tables. The charities apprentices, past and present, have also been invited to work the event, shadowing the chefs for the event. All proceeds of the £120 ticket will go to the charity Beyond Food Foundation.

Henry Brosi, executive chef at 5 star hotel, The Dorchester commented: : “It is an honour to welcome the Club des Chefs des Chefs to The Dorchester, support British suppliers and showcase Britain’s great tradition for entertaining in style.”

The Dorchester with its award-winning bars and restaurants can accommodate for any event, be there two people or a thousand. The Club des Chef des Chefs will experience the hotel’s ‘Kitchen Party’ event and new look Chef’s Table. The Dorchester has also recently renovated guest rooms with a traditional English style for the chefs to stay.

The hotel is known to play host to prestigious events as well as heads of state and royal attendance. 9th July 1947, Her Majesty the Queen was attending a dinner party at The Dorchester not one day before announcing her engagement. Prince Phillip also attended his stag at The Dorchester’s Park Suite. In The Second World War, Service Chiefs and members of Government used The Dorchester as a semi-permanent base and headquarters were set up by General Eisenhower at The Dorchester for planning of the Normandy invasion.
