The Bloomsbury Festival takes place at various locations in the Bloomsbury Quarter from Friday 15th October – Sunday 20th October 2013. This two day extravaganza of art, music and live entertainment promises a feast of activity and entertainment for Londoners of all ages.

The cultural diversity of Bloomsbury will be celebrated and enjoyed at the Bloomsbury Festival which features an eclectic line up of artists, shows and live acts. Everything from music and dance to film and art exhibitions will be taking place at what promises to be a seriously diverse festival event.

Some of the highlights of this year's Bloomsbury Festival include a live jazz performance in Bedford Square, with gin cocktails, cakes and lawn games. The Extraordinary Moments in the Square event in Russell Square is also filled with plenty of family events, including a live music stage, face painting and plenty of creativity and dancing.

There will also be craft stalls, children's activities, workshops, games and much more that will keep them all entertained. One particular highlight of this year's event includes a concert performance of Bach's music designed for babies and toddlers and a host of science based activities aimed at educating as well as entertaining.

Visitors to London and Londoners themselves can spend a whole weekend exploring the Bloomsbury Quarter and seeing what’s on offer in a vibrant, diverse London festival. Events are being held all weekend, with more than enough to keep you busy throughout.

While in the area why not call into the British Museum, situated only a few minutes’ walk from the Bloomsbury Quarter and appreciate what it has to offer.
