Coworth Park part of the Dorchester Collection’s luxury country house hotel and spa havelaunched Meadow Tea in the Drawing Room running from June – October. This tea provides a summery take on the traditional afternoon tea with pastries. Then new exclusive fragrant hand-blended tea was inspired by flowers on the estate and view of Coworth Park’s famous wildflower meadow from The Drawing Room windows.

On Thursdays or on request Coworth Park’s head of gardens Terri Crow is to launch a series of informal garden walks lasting between an hour and two hours, talking through the history and inspiration behind the Lime Avenue, Sunken Garden, Kissing Cages, Ornamental Terraces and the Wildflower Meadow, and sharing Coworth Park’s planting philosophy.

Pastries are accompanied by estate grown elderflower cordial, a selection of finger sandwiches and scones, and complemented by seasonal home-made compotes: gooseberry and the estate’s Elderflower preserve from May to July, followed by apricot–lavender, and plum-hisbicus from August to October.

Meadow Tea will be priced at £26 per person or £39 per person for champagne meadow tea, excluding service charge. Garden tours take place on July 4, July 18, August 1 and September 19, or on request, enquire on reservation.
