With an exciting line-up of events taking place in the capital this summer, Bar Boulud is bringing the American tailgate to London, and launching an appetizing Pre-Game Bar Snack Menu; a great way to kick-off the action with family and friends. With non-stop sports and music on Hyde Park’s menu, including swimming in the Serpentine, concerts in the park and even the closing ceremony, Bar Boulud, located within Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, offers an unbeatable position from the heart of the park.

The new Pre-Game menu, which includes a selection of sociable snacks and delicious drinks, will be served-up all day in the Bar and Lounge at Bar Boulud, from Monday 16 July until Sunday 12 August 2012, for hotel guests and London locals alike to enjoy in the vibrant atmosphere.

Executive Chef, Dean Yasharian has created the Pre-Game menu dishes include: housemade Hot Dog, served in a brioche bun with traditional garnish; fried buffalo mozzarella wrapped in iberico ham with tomato confit; mini lobster rolls; spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla crisps; pulled pork “slider” with cabbage slaw jalapeño mayonnaise in a cheddar bun.   As an excellent accompaniment, Bar Boulud offers a full range of rare draught and bottled beers from small, artisanal producers as well as an impressive selection of wines. Serving great wine by the glass from rare large format bottles is a Boulud trademark, and Head Sommelier David Vareille will be opening a selection of special wines throughout the season, a true spectacle to watch. Not forgetting the signature White Cosmo cocktail, which has become a Bar Boulud favourite.

With a sleek open kitchen which enables guests to catch a glimpse of the excitement of the chefs at work, and a convivial zinc-topped bar, Bar Boulud continues to delight guests with its buzzing ambiance and has consolidated its reputation as one of London’s most popular dining hotspots
