The world’s largest annual flower show the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2012 will take place from the 3rd to the 8th of July with six days of all things horticultural. The show is held in the Royal Park at Hampton Court Palace and is organized by the Royal Horticultural Society. With 25 acres of displays, magnificent marquees, show gardens and many other attractions, the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show is a spectacular event.
There will be a wide variety of stunning floral displays, and people have also the opportunity to learn about growing your own fruit and vegetables, get tips on gardening in a changing climate, and shop for a wide variety of garden products. RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show will host displays of floral design, inspiration for small spaces and budgets, as well as marquees filled with roses and rare plants.
There will also be a number of restaurants, cafés and picnic areas where one has the opportunity to relax in truly magnificent surroundings. The hundreds of trade stands will provide products and accessories for every gardener, from secateurs and planters to barbecues and gazebos.
Highlights of this year’s event will include:
Urban Oasis- A garden designed by Chris Beardshaw on behalf of Groundwork UK and the RHS, where one can discover the amazing green potential of the inner city at the Urban Oasis.
Low Cost, High Impact Garden- Three gardens which are designed on four different budgets where one can see what can be achieved on a low budget.
Romance and Roses- The Romance and Roses marquee features floristry and rose displays.
Conceptual Gardens- These are gardens which are designed without rules or restrictions, the designers' imaginations have free reign in this section of the show.
Gala Preview Evening- 2 July 2012. 5.30pm - 10.30pm
The exclusive preview evening is a wonderful, relaxed and magical evening where one can spend their time listening to live music with friends and family whilst viewing the beautiful gardens and floral displays. There will also be a magnificent fireworks display to finish of your evening in style.
