The 2012 Cheese and Wine Festival will take place once again in London’s Southbank Centre from Friday the 27th to Sunday the 29th of April 2012. Opening Times for the 2012 festival will be from 11am and 8pm daily, and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.

This Spring festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, with over 35 stalls, providing visitors with the opportunity to explore some amazing demonstrations, sample the finest wines from as far afield as Italy, Australia and South America and meet with some passionate foodies. There will be a wide range of stalls showcasing the highest quality of cheese and wines and there will be many exciting activities for everyone to take part in.

This spring extravaganza promises a total cheesy experience, with everything from cheese making demonstrations to tutored tastings and some very interesting talks. A host of acclaimed chefs and experts in the market will also be on hand to give advice and demonstrations throughout the festival.

BBC’S Tim Atkin the popular wine journalist will be on hand at the London Festival to hold his tutored tastings of some of the most exquisite wines. Patricia Michelson a world renowned chef will also hold a number of demonstrations and Valentina Harris will once again manage the Cookery Theatre where visitors can enjoy some amazing demonstrations and tastings. This popular Cheese and Wine festival is currently in its fourth year and is dedicated to promoting high quality and ethical produce.
