45 Park Lane, one of Dorchester Collection latest hotels located in Mayfair London has opened its doors to showcase its spectacular gallery of art created by some of Britain’s leading contemporary artists. Guests at the luxurious hotel have three unique opportunities to experience a personal insight into British contemporary art and the 45 Park Lane artists.

45 Park Lane opened with commissioned work by ten leading British artists in its rooms and suites, and all 16 of Damien Hirst’s limited edition ‘Diamond Dust Psalms’ series displayed together for the first time in the modern American steak restaurant, CUT at 45 Park Lane.

Guests at the 45 Park Lane will be able to become immersed in the creative sphere of some of the finest living British artists. Roy Ackerman CBE will be acting as host.  Started on 17 April with Brad Faine, followed by Martin Fuller on 14 May, this series of intimate and exclusive previews offers guests the opportunity to speak to the artist in residence from 5pm until 8pm and view additional works giving a unique insight into inspiration, technique and creativity. Patrick Hughes, Sir Peter Blake and Brendan Neiland will be other artists who will be available in May followed by Bruce Mc Lean in June and Roger Mc Gough in August.

Guests at the luxerious 45 Park Lane are also invited to observe Britain’s leading, living artists at work in their own studios, by private invitation only. Each studio experience ‘By Private Invitation’ begins in 45 Park Lane’s luxurious Media Room with a presentation by 45 Park Lane’s art curator Roy Ackerman CBE, introducing guests to the art within the hotel, and insights into London’s art scene.  The experience ends with a celebratory glass of champagne shared with the artist in the studio and CUT at 45 Park Lane picnic. To ensure each experience is unique and enjoyable, details of the studio visit are tailored to individual preferences.
