The Chocolate Festival at The Southbank Centre runs from Friday 7th December - Sunday 9th December 2012. Just in time for Christmas, the festival is a must for lovers of all the wonderful products derived from the cocoa bean, as there will be a dizzying range of chocolatey products on offer.

There will also be a series of chocolate making workshops, demonstrations and master chocolatiers displaying their talents. As well as that there will be lots of inspiration on how to incorporate chocolate into a wider range of dishes, as well as stalls stocking everything from hot chocolate, chocolate cocktails, churros with chocolate, a chocolate fountain and even savoury chocolate food. You can also attend book signings and learn more about the art of making chocolate from specialist producers.

One of the highlights of this magnificent chocolate festival is bound to be the craft activities for kids and families. In addition to the Christmas chocolate festival, foodies can look forward to the delights of the seasonal Real Food Market as well as other food and drink showcases.

This year's chocolate festival will also include the chance to try chocolate cocktails, as well as sample the wares of some of the finest chocolatiers including William Curley.
