Anthony Sinclair

As well as its bespoke tailoring service Anthony Sinclair also sells handmade shirts and accessories

Anthony Sinclair is a traditional British-based tailoring firm based on Sackville Street in Mayfair. The company is famed for being James Bond’s original tailor and creating the Conduit Cut, a classic, pared-down shape, which looks as good today as it did when 007 first stepped onto the big screen over 50 years ago.

The Conduit Cut became a landmark in the history of Savile Row tailoring when Sean Connery adopted the look, wearing Sinclair suits for all of his appearances as the world’s favourite secret agent, from Dr. No in 1962 to Diamonds Are Forever in 1971.

The production of genuine bespoke hand-tailored clothing remains the core activity of the company, with highly skilled artisans employing techniques of craftsmanship that have evolved over centuries and remain unchanged since Sinclair's earliest days. A collection of made-to-measure and ready-to-wear suits, shirts and accessories are also available.
