Paddington Station
Praed Street, London W2 1HS
Paddington Station is officially known as London Paddington but is known to Londoners simply as Paddington. The station originally set up as part of the Great Western Railway in 1838, was the first western terminal for the worlds first underground railway. The station now operates a Heathrow Express service and it is in Travelcard Zone 1. Paddington Waterside is a new office and retail area that has been developed providing more office space in the area thereby increasing commuter travel through the station as previously commuters used the station as an interchange between the National Rail service and the London Underground for the West End and The City.
