Eton Dorney is an established Rowing Centre located at Dorney Lake Buckinghamshire. It will be the host venue for the Olympic Rowing and Paralympic Rowing events and it will also the Olympic Kayak events. It is already established as a top quality training facility and during the games it will also host the Canoe Sprint discipline. Eton Dorney has successfully hosted the Rowing World Championships and the venue has been improved upon for the London Olympics 2012. Many aspects of the facility have been upgraded due to the crowds expected and the standard required for the Olympic. Olympic rowers will race in six lanes along a 2,000m flat-water course with 550 rowers participating in the London 2012 Games.
