Dutch National Ballet

The Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet tour their very first show, in the finest Opera House in London, with an absolutely amazingly engaging programme including certain works by the talented Hans van Manen, Peter Wright, Rudi van Dantzig, and a UK premiere from the rising British star George Williamson.

The impressive new Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet formed in 2013 to provide an exceptional development programme for 12 young up and coming dancers. The inaugural company pulls together different emerging talents from all around the world, and Springboard offers all UK audiences the first of many opportunities to experience their utter vibrancy and incredible beauty.

The programme includes pas de deux from the most classical ballets, including Van Dantzig's magnificent Swan Lake, Petipa's Diane et Actaeon. Peter Wright's The Sleeping Beauty and Van Manen's coolly erotic Kwintet is presented with other works by dancer and choreographer Ernst Meisner, the talented artistic director of the company. The programme will conclude with the UK premiere of Dawn Dances by George Williamson, the artistic associate of English National Ballet.
