We heard about the Cellars at Gleneagles, the best luxury hotel in Scotland with an amazing private dining space and we just couldn't resist speaking with Paul Hughes, the Manager for Food and Beverage. When a traveler is planning a trip to London, a trip to Scotland and Gleneagles has to be on the itinerary. Especially when you are in a group, you must book the cellars for your own intimate dining experience!

Hen's egg - smoked duck carpaccio - spinach fricassee -morels Red deer - rhubarb streusel - Jerusalem artichoke puree - Brussels sprout Fillet steak Flambe - Lagavulin whisky - green peppercorns

What is your advice to a first time visitor to Gleneagles?

Enjoy the variety of Dining experiences and activities - finish off in the Bar with a good Malt whisky

Oldest Bottle - Cognac ESCHENAUER and Co 1825 

Oldest Champagne - Moet et Chandon 1961 Oldest Port 1960 Croft

It was here that the hotel received its wines by rail from all over Europe - and you can still see those original railway bays while you dine. Decorated with artefacts and archive material from throughout the hotel's history, it's ideally suited to wine and spirit tastings, intimate dinners,cocktail parties and canapé receptions.
