It was extremely exciting for us to have the opportunity to interview Jaclyn Sienna India of Sienna Charles Travel, the most exclusive travel agency in the world with offices in Palm Beach and Manhattan.

Husband and wife team, Freddy Charles Reinert and Jaclyn Sienna India spend 200 nights a year travelling the world and experiencing some of the best luxury hotels in order to ensure they give their clients the best travel advice and service.

 They not only book flights and hotels for clients, but curate journeys and itineraries which are thoughtful and suit the needs of high profile individuals, celebrities and the elite. Jaclyn gave us some insight in to what she looks out for in hotels and what luxury travellers to London should expect!

What are the first few things you notice when you enter a hotel?

The lobby, how it flows- if its inviting and gives a feeling of luxury and a sense of place. Are restaurants busy with outsiders as well as guests? The most important thing to me is service - does this experience through service live up to the luxurious claims they make and worth the money? Am I fully pampered and are all my needs being met?  I look to see if there are thoughtful touches in the hotel that show you the hotel cares and does not nickel and dime you. A top grade espresso machine in the room, bottled water at turndown, great magazines and touches to make you feel like you are home.  

What is the most you've enjoyed about visiting London and what is your advice to a first time visitor?

A lot of clients combine London & Paris on their first trip to Europe/London.  I always suggest giving enough time in London to really see it thoroughly. Maybe just do London on your first trip and then go to the outskirts like the Cotswolds as well.  

What have been your most memorable travel experiences?

My favourite places in the world are Italy, France & Japan. Some of the most memorable amazing experiences are in Bali, the Maldives, Ethiopia & the Seychelles.  

What is your definition of luxury?

Luxury to me is a incredibly fabulous hotel on the water with amazing food & service.  

What kind of travellers would enjoy London?

I would recommend a luxury traveller because to really get the full effect you do need to spend a bit of money!

 My clients have enjoyed very much the world class hotels such as the The Dorchester, Claridges & Connaught. My clients enjoy the ever-changing and continuous betterment of the city with new restaurants, top tier hotels & shopping.  Clients enjoy the best art in Europe at the museums & art galleries!

London does truly have it all if the leading specialist in luxury travel advice is saying it.
