How did you get involved in the beauty industry?
I have been in the beauty industry for 20 years now and actually started managing hair salons and then moved over to manage beauty as well.

What are the most common mistakes people make with their hair? What
is your advice?
A lot of people don't realise that hair is more susceptible to damage when wet, therefore rough drying hair with a towel after a shower results in frizzy, damaged hair. It is much better to blow dry the hair before blow drying. A good diet is very important for healthy, shiny hair, ensure that you are getting enough protein, iron and vitamins!
