Chelsea Farmers Market

Chelsea Farmers Market is not a Farmers Market in the true sense of the word, just a collection of businesses in a pseudo-market environment. Located just off the fashionable King's Road in London in Chelsea, this off beat collection of chalet style shops and restaurants is the ideal place to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of the high street.

During the summertime, the open square courtyard at the heart of the market really comes into its own. Wooden tables are laid out in the square which draws large lunchtime crowds who take cover under the shade of the outsized umbrellas.

After lunch, you can browse around the shops selling all kinds of things from expensive handbags to obscure books.

If you're into plants then the oasis that is The Chelsea Gardener is also worth a look and just a short stroll down Sydney Street. It may not be a farmers' market in the true sense of the word but this corner of Chelsea is still a delight to discover.

If you are looking to do some luxury shopping while visiting Chelsea then why not call into Zaeem Jamal on King's Road.
