The Antiquarian Book Fair at The Olympia takes place at The National Hall from Thursday 13th – Saturday 15th June 2013. For anyone who enjoys old books, this three day event, now in its 56th year, regularly has around 200 exhibitors showcasing the very best in the rare, the old and the unusual.

Book lovers will have the opportunity to view, touch and purchase an extraordinary range of items and really immerse themselves into the pages of the Antiquarian Book Fair at The Olympia. But it’s not only books that are available, visitors will also get to see other unique items of historical interest including maps, manuscripts, photographs, prints and even original artwork.

This literary event has been organised in conjunction with the Antiquarian Booksellers Association, which guarantees that all the items sold are authentic and all the sellers themselves are experts in their field. You can also expect many of the items showcased to be museum of quality at the Antiquarian Book Fair at The Olympia event, with many international sellers also displaying their wares.

While history fans will most certainly thrive at the event, not all the books sold will be ancient masterpieces, and guests will also get the opportunity to get hold of some of the latest first editions, which may one day acquire their own value. Other highlights of the fair include themed tours, live lectures and a special exhibition called Books Not Books, which features a selection of objects and artworks in book form, but that aren’t technically considered books.

If arts and culture are of interest to you then why not visit some of 5ive Star London’s Arts & Culture venues.
