The Spin London Bicycle Festival takes place at the Old Truman Brewery from Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th May 2013. If you want to see bicycles with a more street-wise feel, then make sure you attend the world’s first ever urban focused bike show. Bikes are certainly the most economic and popular way to get around the busy city, but this festival shows that they are not only practical; they can also be extremely fashionable too.

The festival will be showcasing some of the leading brands in fashion, design and accessories for you and your bike and will also give you the chance to see custom builders create a bike from scratch. You also have the chance to attend talks and demonstrations that will focus on the world of urban biking.

The retailers at the festival will also include some independent retailers, emerging businesses and creative talents. Some of these names are particularly unusual, such as Bicycle Taxidermy, which offers to display mount parts of your old bikes, such as the handlebars, onto a wooden plaque to resemble trophy antlers.

A range of exciting activities will also be taking place at the festival, with static bike racing, a pedal powered cinema and even an urban bike exhibition. Art fans can enjoy Cycle-Art Installations and when you just want to sit down and chill out there will be live music and food available too.
