The Canalway Cavalcade London Festival takes place at Little Venice from Saturday 4th May - Monday 6th May 2013. Make sure you visit as this will truly be a unique and free family festival celebrating the city's waterways.

The festival features plenty of family friendly fun over the May bank holiday weekend, where you can soak up an array of traditional entertainment, including morris dancers and a night-time pageant of illuminated boats along the canal.

Some festivities will also include a real ale bar and stalls selling a variety of snacks and food. There will also be live music from a line-up of different bands, as well as plenty of children's activities.

The event is organised by volunteers from the Inland Waterways Association, and has been taking place since 1983. A number of canal boats will be moored along Little Venice and fans of the brightly coloured vessels can also enjoy trade shows, stalls and more.
