Champions League Final 2013

  • by arobis
The 2013 Champions League Final will take place on Saturday 25th May at 19.45 BST at London’s Wembley Stadium. Borussia Dortmund will take on Bayern Munich in an all German final, the first ever to occur, in front of 90,000 fans of the iconic British sport.

Bayern Munich has arguably had the more difficult road to the final, defeating the likes of Arsenal, Juventus and Barcelona on their path to the final. Borussia Dortmund has overcome opposition such as Shakhtar Donetsk, Malaga and Real Madrid on their run in to cup glory.

Both teams are set to field a fully fit team with the likes of Gotze, Ribery, Lewandowski, Dante, Pizzarro, Robben, Reus and Muller just some of the names on show for this magnificent spectacle that is watched by over 100 million people worldwide, even more than the Superbowl.

Wembley last hosted the Champions League Final in 2011 and is the first venue to host the competition twice in 3 years, a true testament to the quality of Wembley Stadium which was the main arena during the Olympics for London 2012.

Tickets for the event are long sold out, with 25,000 being allocated to each team in the build up to the final. Tickets at a significantly higher rate may be available outside the stadium although there is no guarantee of authenticity.

The Stadium is easily accessible via public transport and there will be added route options to cope with the demand for this prestigious competition.
