The London MCM Expo takes place from Friday 24th May - Sunday 26th May 2013 at ExCel London. The expo is back once again, taking over the ExCeL Centre for three whole days of films, videogames, anime and celebrity appearances. Well established as one of the highlights on the sci-fi and anime calendar, the 2013 Comic Con is set to bring you the very best in new releases, cosplay and entertainment.
This year's festival of all things anime, manga, comics and film brings you more of your favourite movie stars and TV personalities, the best in new comic book talent and the chance to take part in or witness the famous cosplay masquerade. Gamers will also be able to get their hands on the latest new titles from the biggest and best game companies around.
If you want to bag yourself several autographs from some of the best TV show actors around or whether you want to get your hands on the hottest new games, there will be plenty of exciting events and opportunities at this year's London MCM Expo. Comic fans will be keen to meet up with various different comic artists, or hear from a variety of special guests.
This year Totally Cosplay is a whole area dedicated to the art of cosplay. Here you can meet with other cosplay fans, see displays of costumes, catch games, performances and workshops too. You can also get some valuable help in advance of the ever popular cosplay masquerade which is always one of the major highlights of the show.
Also back for 2013 at the expo is the Comic Village, the place for comic creators, artists, writers and fans to converge in one of the biggest events of its kind in the UK. Featuring panel discussions, question and answer sessions, signings and the return of the annual art competition, the Comic Village gives you the chance to indulge your love of comics and graphic novels with creators and other fans.
One of the highlights of the Comic Con is the chance to brush shoulders with heroes from the big and little screen. Last October's guest list included Danny DeVito and Anthony Daniels.
