The Propstore Pop Up Cafe at The National Theatre is open every day from Friday 3rd May – Saturday 28th September 2013.  The café is showcasing a brand new collection of props and scenery from this year’s most popular productions. Sit down and enjoy a casual drink surrounded by masks, puppets and other random paraphernalia and see what you can recognise.

Keen theatre goers will be trying to spot the props, and among the plethora you might be able to see the goose puppet used in Warhorse, a crocodile seen in Peter Pan and the train set from the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

Those who visit will be able to sample a selection of street food alongside draught beers, various spirits and English wines. The menu includes Pork Sandwiches, Fish finger sandwiches, Beetroot falafel, lamb kebabs, beef and feta meatballs and a boxed salad of the day, so you can expect to enjoy a wide range of delicious delicacies while you take in the theatrical atmosphere and you can expect to be entertained by some great live musicians and DJs until 2am.

The Pop Up Cafe gives the public the chance to sample a little bit of theatre magic whilst enjoying some good food with friends.
