The Southbank Centre Square is becoming an increasingly popular space for pop up markets, with everything from the Real Food Market to the Chocolate Festival making sporadic appearances to tantalise the taste buds of passers-by. To celebrate the 2013 Alchemy Festival of Indian and South Asian culture, the Alchemy Market at Southbank Centre is offering stalls full of delicious produce as a special treat for foodies in London.
At this spectacular event you will get the chance to experience the sights, smells and taste of Indian cuisine without leaving central London.The market will be packed full of Indian and South Asian food, spices and fresh produce for you to sample and take home with you. Hot food will also be served at the market so you can refresh and refuel before heading back into the Southbank Centre to enjoy all the live music and dancing on offer.
A selection of Indian crafts are also up for sale at the market stalls and there will also be Indian themed DJ sets, live music, dance performances and yoga workshops as part of the Alchemy Festival.
