Wallace and Gromit at The Hammersmith Apollo takes place Sunday 31st March – Monday 1st April 2013. Let your kids experience a musical extravaganza as the lively duo performs a wonderful family show that takes audiences behind the scenes of some of the best loved British animated characters.
Wallace and Gromit have succeeded in becoming the most popular of all Nick Parks creations, since the first film was released in 1989, with numerous sequel films, video games and spin off TV shows. This popularity has grown among both adults and children and likewise.
This performance will give audiences the opportunity to watch as Wallace prepares for his proms commission, comically named My Concerto. The performance is uniquely done, with specially filmed animated scenes interacting with those on stage, and with the Aurora Orchestra keeping the audience entertained with their live score.
The audience will get the opportunity to watch a special screening of their most recent award winning short film, A Matter of Loaf and Death, during the interval, along with a live orchestral soundtrack.
All in all, this event promises to have audiences of all ages laughing out loud at the hilarious antics of this Lancashire-born cheese fanatic and his dog.
