Carnival at Guanabara runs from Thursday 7th February - Tuesday 12th February 2013. Dance like you’re in Rio de Janeiro at this week-long festival of Brazilian music and dance at one of the hottest London clubs. Whether you’re a carnival queen or you’ve never even seen a samba, head down to Guanabara for some exciting Brazilian dance moves and party music.
Bring the hot tropics of Brazil to London at Guanabara, a top bar, club and restaurant with a unique party atmosphere. While you dance the night away to the sounds of Brazilian music you can also sample the food and drinks that have made the country famous.
There will be a showcasing from top Brazilian samba performers like the Paraiso School of Samba, who will be parading around Covent Garden before bringing the carnival home to Guanabara. There's also percussion music from Rhythms of the City, live vocals, as well as traditional carnival tunes from bands such as Zeu Azevedo.
Don’t miss the Bal Masque at Carnival at Guanabara, featuring more live samba music as well as beats from DJs Limao and Bruno Camargo. Make sure you wear a mask for this traditionally hedonistic Brazilian party, which will be filled with Londoners in their most glittery, glitzy and glamorous outfits, complete with the famous carnival mask.
