The Extraordinary Stories about Ordinary Things at Design Museum takes place from Wednesday 30th January 2013 until Sunday 4th January 2015. Why don’t you head into the city and visit for a peak at the brand new permanent collection at the famous centre of contemporary design.

This captivating exhibition is primarily designed to inspire all who attend by showcasing some of the most amazing day to day objects in the history of modern design. At the exhibition, you can expect to see innovative furniture and architecture, as well as technology, fashion, and transport alongside concepts, models and specially commissioned film.

Since its inception around 20 years ago, London’s Design Museum has gained significant momentum, and this exhibition marks the end of an era before the outfit moves to a brand new location in Kensington in 2015. As one of its largest exhibitions ever, the event will house thousands of iconic pieces from all over the world so make sure that you don’t miss out.

Prepare to be amazed as you will never have seen more innovative items under the same roof at this exhibition. You can see classic designs such as the red telephone box and the road sign, alongside more technologically advanced items such as the cyclonic vacuum cleaner and the Apple iMac computer.
