The Regent Street Motor Show

The UK’s largest motor show takes place on Saturday 2nd November on London’s iconic Regent Street.The street will close for the day to showcase 125 years of British automobile history ranging from classic cars from the 19th century right up to the supercars of today. With over 300 vehicles on display there will be something to satisfy the tastes of all motor enthusiasts.

 

Notable features of this year’s event include the celebration of 100 years of Aston Martin as well as the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911. Various other notable motor brands will have their most recent models on display.

 

Hosted by the Royal Automobile Club, the show takes place in advance of the famous London to Brighton Veteran Car Run which commences the following day. This drive involves 100 pre-1905 cars that will also be on display on Regent Street during the show.

 

Ben Cussons, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club Motoring Committee believes that it is a real standout exhibition:

 

"The annual Regent Street Motor Show is a truly unique event," Cussons said. "It is not only set in one of the world's most famous shopping streets right in the heart of London's buzzing West End but, featuring such a comprehensive collection of amazing cars, also provides a truly amazing spectacle.”

 

All establishments in the Regent Street area will be open as per usual with the displays taking place between 10am and 4pm from Oxford Circus all the way down to Piccadilly Circus.
