Notting Hill is one of London's most exclusive and trendiest shopping locations also perfect for celebrity spotting. Home to one of the biggest carnivals in Europe, The Notting Hill Carnival, only minutes away from The Milestone Hotel, Notting Hill is also known for Portobello Road and Market. The market runs every Saturday and is an experience in itself. You can buy anything starting from antiques to even fresh vegetables. Farmer's markets are an essential aspect of British lifestyle and experiencing one of these is very refreshing! Portobello Road has The Electric Cinema that gives you the opportunity to watch mainstream but also all time favourite movies whilst sitting on comfy sofas!

Notting Hill is always changing and is also home to a new initiative by Jamie Oliver. Accessing Jamie's recipes has been made much more easier by the man himself. Recipease is a way of inspiring people and creating a community hub for those who want to either attend classes, watch the cooks cooking, buy healthy ingredients for their food or just get an up close experience of cooking in Jamie Oliver's environment!

The Westbourne Grove area of Notting Hill is known for its trendy cafes, restaurants and British designer boutiques. In other words it is a fashion hub. Whether you are looking for a day or night out, Westbourne Grove has ample choices. You'll find many upcoming art galleries whilst you walk up Westbourne Grove towards Bayswater. During London Fashion Week it would be perfect to pop over to Notting Hill as it has been an inspiration for many British artists and designers.

Notting Hill is also accessible via walking through Hyde Park.

Notting Hill should definitely be on your map of 'Things to Do in London'.
