Happy Families at the Ritz

  • by arobis
The Ritz London looks forward to welcoming both the young and the young at heart with its new Happy Families accommodation programme. Time spent with the family at The Ritz is a wonderful tradition to begin, where every moment is magical and memories are made and remembered for a lifetime. Young guests of The Ritz will remember getting dressed up and taking their first Afternoon Tea in the world famous Palm Court with Mummy and Daddy for the rest of their life; they will remember their first Ritz bathrobe and slippers, identical in all but size to that of their parent’s; and little girls will remember sipping Shirley Temples with their mother as they had their first taste of a grown-up world of luxury and pampering in The Ritz Salon.

The services offered at The Ritz are designed to create moments between families that will be cherished forever, rather than providing a distraction for children when travelling away from home.  The most family-oriented of London's luxury hotels, The Ritz's setting, with the wide spaces of verdant Green Park on its doorstep and a variety of toy stores and family activities to delight children only a short walk away, is perfect; the service is legendary; and the award-winning Ritz Restaurant boasts a menu sure to please even the fussiest of young diners.

The Ritz London is delighted to introduce the Happy Families programme which offers guests a complimentary interconnecting room for children when they book a Deluxe Room as well as membership to the [email protected] club, offering exclusive privileges for younger guests.  As a member of [email protected], each V.I.K. (Very Important Kid, that is!) receives the following treats and services: a welcome gift upon arrival, souvenir membership card,  access to the hotel’s Teen Concierge, unlimited complimentary ice-cream, an evening treat upon turndown, Wii or Playstation game consoles in-room, a selection of age-appropriate children’s books and DVDs in-room, children’s-sized bathrobes and slippers, special children’s bathroom amenities  special children’s room service menu and complimentary breakfast.

During their stay, mothers and daughters may also like to indulge in The Ritz Salon's 'Princess for a Day' programme. The programme includes a haircut and style for two, followed by a manicure for little princesses and a pedicure for mothers. While enjoying a refreshing Shirley Temple fruit cocktail (with a glass of Ritz Champagne for mothers), daughters will get an enticing peek at a grown-up, luxurious world and enjoy a day out with Mummy that will never be forgotten.
