Henley Royal Regatta will one again take place on the River Thames from the 27th of June to the 1st of July 2012. The Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best known regatta in the world and is one of the highlights of London’s busy sporting calendar and the social season. Every year the Henley Royal Regatta attracts thousands of visitors over a 5 day period with over 200 races of an international standard, including Olympians and crews new to this year’s event.

All races are held over the full Henley Course on the River Thames. The length of the Course is one mile 550 yards (2,112 metres) – upstream. Winning a race at the Henley Royal Regatta is considered one of the greatest achievements of a rower’s career.

The Stewards' Enclosure is open exclusively to Members and their Guests, while the Ragatta Enclosure is situated just downstream from the Stewards' Enclosure and is open to the general public, competitors and supporters. The Regatta Enclosure offers good viewing of the races with seating alongside the river and in an open grandstand. There is also an excellent covered restaurant, an outside dining area and a bar.

The draw for all races will takes place at 3.00 p.m. on Saturday 23rd June in Henley Town Hall and one can see below a general outline of start and finish times of this years races.
