Celebrations in Honour of 100 Years of Hospitality at The Stafford London by Kempinski continues to celebrate its 100th birthday; it invites all cocktail aficionados, history buffs, and hotel fans to raise a glass with a new monthly drink series. Crafted by Master Barman Benoit Provost and his team at the American Bar, the series consists of signature sips inspired by the property’s history and its London home.
Every month, a new libation will be featured:
October
As the chilly weather sets in and it becomes all about enjoying the comforts of home and thus Daniel Thwaites Bitter, the hotel’s house beer, will receive the limelight. The beer was brought to the hotel by its former owners and is currently the only bar in London to serve it on tap.
November
With the year winding down, it comes time to show-off what the American Bar is known for: Martinis. In November the seductive, deceptively complex Dry Martini will be the featured sip.
December
A Holiday tradition will then close out the series. December’s featured sip is the hotel’s beloved Mulled Wine. What makes it so special? The recipe contains a secret ingredient that has been handed down from American Barman to American Barman throughout the decades. Many have tried to secure the recipe, but their lips remain sealed.
All featured cocktails are available at the American Bar.
