The British 10K Run takes place in London on Sunday 8th July 2012. This year will be the 12th anniversary of this iconic road run and race organizers are hoping it will be the biggest and best race yet, taking place right in the middle of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year and just days before the 2012 Olympics.  

With thousands of people expected to line the iconic route there promises to be a fantastic atmosphere with the cheering crowds and music playing from speakers around the course. The excitement and buzz within London should make for a truly special occasion and the best British 10k London Run in its 12 year history. Nike is the official title sponsor for this year's iconic London race, with the Special Olympics Great Britain have been chosen as the Official Charity Partner for the British 10k in 2012  

UK's most prestigious and sought-after 10km road race will start at 9.35 am with the historical route taking runners through the heart of London, running past many of central London’s world famous historic landmarks including  Big Ben, British Houses of Parliament, The London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, Nelson's Column, Westminster Abbey.
