Celebrating everything English, St George the patron saint of England will be celebrated throughout London and the UK on Tuesday 23rd April. The anniversary of his death, which is on April 23rd, is seen as England's National Day. According to legend, St. George was a soldier in the Roman army who killed a dragon and saved a princess.

Throughout the city of London there will be of events including parades, theatrical events, food festivals and much more to celebrate St George.  One of the traditions on St George’s day is to fly or adom the St George Cross flag; another tradition is for one to wear a red rose on ones lapel.

The main events in London to celebrate St George will take place in Trafalgar Square which is to be transformed into a beautiful oasis English garden for the festival on Saturday the 20th of April. There will be entertainment all day and is guaranteed to appeal to all ages.
