Nordic Film Festival London takes place this year from Friday 30th November – Wednesday 5th December 2012 at Cine Lumiere, Riverside Studios and Prince Charles Cinema. The Nordic film festival London event has something for everybody, with films ranging from the darkest thrillers to the funniest of romantic comedies.

The Nordic Film Festival London is one of the more versatile cinema events on the London as some of the best films from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and Norway will be on shown.

The highlight of the event will be Love is All You Need, for many, a charming romantic comedy starring Pierce Brosnan and Trine Dyrholm. Directed by Susanne Bier, the film marks a courageous move away from the Oscar winner’s previous work, but cements her place as one of Denmark’s most talented and inventive directors yet.

The film festival also includes interesting documentaries and artistic endeavours such as Helsinki, Forever, where Peter von Bagh looks at the history of Finnish visual culture. Other interesting viewings include The Punk Syndrome, which follows Finland’s biggest punk band as well as Olafur Eliasson: Space in Progress, which looks at the famous artist’s fascination with human perception.
