The Elliot brothers have long been nicknamed Soho’s Pizza Pilgrims due to their bizarre expedition around Italy in a three-wheeled Piaggio Ape van with the purpose of finding the perfect pizza. Some of their other exploits have lead them to carry up to three tonnes of bricks in order to recreate a traditional Pompeii pizza oven.

As this winter is promised to be a cold one, many might wonder why one would want to sit outside in such harsh conditions. However, the Elliot brothers have taken this on board and have covered the secret rooftop in warm rugs and outdoor heaters. Their successful summer bar has also changed its drinks menu, which embraces a warm Christmas theme with mulled wine, cider and hot cocktails.

This winter event has a splendid food selection on offer, with some intriguing Italian classics among them. The Elliot brothers have created Italian Fonduta for its visitors, instead of pizzas. Fonduta is a large sharing pot of hot melted fontina cheese with a range of organic vegetables, tomatoes, bread and meats to dip into the warm cheesy mix.
