Valentino Fashion Exhibition

This year, the Valentino fashion exhibition London event takes place at Somerset House from Thursday 29th November 2012 - Sunday 3rd March 2013. Combining over 50 years of fashion, inspiration, talent and design, the exhibition is set to get the heart of every fashionista in the city pounding, with over 130 different items on show.

London fashion fans will be out in force desperate to get their hands on tickets for the Valentino fashion exhibition at Somerset House. While the exhibition focuses solely on the exquisitely handmade couture designs, visitors to the show are able to see dresses worn by many famous actresses, princesses and other famous fashion icons.

Valentino, who began his career in fashion in the 1950s, quickly became a well-recognised name as he designed dresses for the likes of Jackie Onassis Kennedy. Many of the designs on show in the Valentino fashion exhibition London event come from private collections, and have never been seen outside the Valentino atelier.

The Valentino exhibition at Somerset House has put a unique twist on most fashion exhibitions and fashion shows themselves, as it features a sixty metre catwalk that visitors can walk down, in the opposite role of the models, who sit in the audience, dressed in their couture designs. Here fashion fans get a chance to strut their stuff as they admire the Valentino dresses on show in the exhibition, which traces the designers history from the 1950s onwards. Grouped into different themes, you will be able to see up close the stunning level of detail that goes into creating each perfect garment, make sure not to miss out.
