This November why not delve into the morbidly fascinating, but intellectually intriguing, Death Exhibition at Wellcome Collection. Running 15th November 2012 to 28th February 2013 you can enjoy Richard Harris’s huge range of artifacts and art that are entirely devoted to the concept of death.

The Death Exhibition at Wellcome Collection is a combines both historical and modern works and explores the value of these and the way they influence our idea of death. Richard Harris, a former antique print dealer, has carefully assembled these artifacts to capture the essence of death both chronologically and culturally and this collection covers all bases and explores this dark topic with regard to science, spirituality and philosophy.

The exhibition, overall aims to encourage us to challenge our own perceptions of mortality, with over 300 diverse items on display, ranging from rare prints to scientific specimens and human remains, the exhibition has tried to give a broad and unbiased view of death, allowing you to form your own conclusions.
