Fenchurch Street Station located in the southeast of London’s financial district The City is one of the smaller railway stations in the London area and it is quite unique as it has no connection to the London Underground. A link had been planned as part of a redevelopment but it never took place and the line was not connected. The station is however quite close to Tower Hill tube station and Aldgate tube station. The station is one of many that is run by Network Rail. The station was originally opened in 1841 by the London and Blackwall Railway.
