Brazil face Russia in an international friendly Football match on Monday 25th March 7.30pm local time, at one of England’s oldest stadiums; Stamford Bridge located in Fulham, West London. Both teams will be keen on victory as preparations for the 2014 World Cup are firmly under way with Brazil automatically qualified due to hosting the event, and Russia topping UEFA Group F with maximum points from 4 games played.

The superstars of Brazil are set to make an appearance with the London based trio of Oscar, Ramires and David Luiz who all ply their trade with Chelsea available for selection, as well as other big names such as Neymar, Ronaldinho, Daniel Alves, Lucas Moura and QPR’s own Júlio César.

Key players for Russia such as Dzagoev,  Akinfeev and Zhirkov are likely to play and the occasion promises to be a great spectacle for neutral Football fans with the attacking prowess of Brazil juxtaposed by the defensive resilience of Russia.

With a capacity of just under 42000, “The Bridge” as it is affectionately known by locals, is a venue steeped in history and is home to the current Champions League holders Chelsea Football Club. It is also the first time an international Football match will be played at Stamford Bridge in over 60 years.

There is no parking available at Stamford Bridge but not to worry, it is easily accessible via the Tube to Fulham Broadway on the District Line, the Rail to West Brompton or various buses on the Fulham Road.

Tickets are available directly from Stamford Bridge and other ticket retailers.
