The Ideal Home Show London event is being held at Earl’s Court from Friday 15th March – Monday 1st April 2013. One of the biggest home and lifestyle events of its kind, the show returns with a huge showcase of ideas to help you to create the home of your dreams, including a range of exciting attractions. Visitors can make their way through several separate zones and attractions, from sustainable houses to the latest concept in living designs.

A great line-up of celebrity guests will be present throughout the event and demonstrations on a range of topics will also be taking place. Certain experts will be speaking throughout the event, sharing the secrets of exclusive home design with design hungry Londoners, whilst celebrity chefs will heat things up with their top cooking tips. Hear from the likes of Allan Titchmarsh, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, George Clarke, Gregg Wallace, Fiona Phillips and Suzi Perry on all things food, gardening and interiors inspired.

There will also be a Beauty Bar where ladies can take a break from walking around the Ideal Home Show, where there will be plenty of pampering. If all that talk on interior design has got just a bit too much then you can relax with a refreshing manicure or make up lesson, and get some top tips on health and fitness too. Or, if you are interested in fashion and clothing check out the catwalk shows where the latest fashions will be on show, before hitting the stalls and taking home a little something extra for your wardrobe.

The Ideal Home Show London has been running ever since 1908 and inspiring the masses to decorate, design and delight in their homes with creative tips from the experts and stunning new collections of homeware on show. To reflect the current economic climate and concerns for the environment, the 2013 show will also feature simple and creative ways to reduce your carbon footprint and live sustainably and economically, but of course, stylishly, in your home.

Since the show has been around for over 100 years, there are some great new advances on show at this Ideal Home Show. London was treated to the three brand new show homes for last year's show, including: The Prince's House, which is a low energy arts and crafts themed house; the Santiago Town House, which was the first three storey house to be built at the show; and the Swedish House, which demonstrates the Swedish ideals of innovative, modern and sustainable living. This years show homes are yet to be announced.

Filled with stylish ideas for the heart of your own home, the Kitchen theatre is also home to some of the best culinary experts in the world. Take part in a Q&A or catch a kitchen demo to learn more about the art of cookery and fine dining. There's also the chance to dine at the Greg Wallace Cafe and check out the celebrity pudding lover's own cuisine.

Last year, the show raised a huge amount for its Ideal Home for Heroes appeal, and this year the Ideal Home Show hopes to collect even more. With this year's charity yet to be announced, you can be sure that more money from every ticket purchased will be going towards a very worthy charity, so you can do your bit for the 2013 appeal while you browse for ideas for your own home.
