Boleyn Ground, also known as Upton Park, is the home of West Ham United FC. With a capacity of 35,016 it was built in 1904. About 10 years later, West Ham selected it as their home ground. The stadium is located in East London and is known for its vibrant support and noise levels. The club plan to move to the Olympic Stadium after the London Olympics 2012.
The 4 main stands in the ground include, Sir Trevor Brooking Stand, East Stand, Bobby Moore Stand and the Alpari Stand. The Alpari Stand is the newest stand which can accommodate up to 15,000 spectators. The Bobby Moore Stand was dedicated to the late captain after his death in 1993.
Tours are available in the stadium viewing the team dressing rooms, team tunnel, while learning the history of the club. Tours occur all year round, excluding home match days.
