Currently exhibiting in The Queens Gallery is The Heart of the Great Alone: Scott, Shackleton & Antarctic Photography and is on display until 15th April 2012. THis exhibition displays the Antarctic photography by George Herbert Ponting and Frank Hurley and it marks the 100th anniversary of Captain Scott’s ill-fated journey to the South Pole.
