Victoria Embankment Gardens
Street

The Victoria Embankment Gardens are Westminster gardens created in 1874 on the north side of the River Thames in London. They are located next to the Embankment Underground station. Four sections were created: to the east the Temple Garden, to the west: the Main Gardens known also as the Adelphi Gardens and two other to the south. The Victoria Embankment Gardens are under the management of the City of Westminster's Parks Service.
The Victoria Embankment Gardens stay open during designated hours: 07:30- 16:30 during the coldest months and 21:30 during the summer. There are gravel paths in all Embankment Gardens that are lined with memorial seats.
A well kept lawn and flowers make a garden look extremely beautiful so on warm days tourists and workers from near-by establishments are having picnic lunches.
