This tour is a circular walk which in a short distance covers many of London's main sights including Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
You can start the loop at Westminster Abbey and see Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace late morning. If you decide to start at the western end of Westminster Bridge, you will see London's most famous icon, Big Ben which you can climb to. Big Ben is a part of the Palace of Westminster. The Gothic architecture you see is comparatively recent bdue to the fact that the palace was burnt down in 1834.
The palace houses UK's ruling bodies, the Houses of Parliament and the House of Lords.
