The Courtauld Gallery is situated on the banks of the Thames in Central London. This Gallery of London is an international worth with 15,000 prints, 7000 drwaings and 530 paintings. The founder of the Courtauld Gallery was Samuel Courtauld. He presented Monet, Pissarro, Degas, Seurat, Rousseau, Toulouse-Lautrec, Modigliani and eight of Cezanne's key pieces to the gallery in 1932. Visitors can enjoy these most notable collections including works by Matisse, Picasso and Kandinsky. They all create outstanding collections of Impressionist, Post- Impressionist and Old Master works extend into the 20th century.
