The Spring Summer 2012 collection draws inspiration from a journey across the Serengeti with colours bamboo, amber, lotus and cactus creating a new warm palette. The collection offers the ESCADA woman design, innovation and luxurious sensuality from dusk ‘til dawn.
History
The ESCADA company was founded by Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley in 1976 after they placed a winning bet on a racehorse. They plunged their gains into establishing their own fashion house and christened their new venture ESCADA after the nimble horse and the brand ESCADA was introduced in 1978 when they presented their first major collection under the name of ESCADA. ESCADA shops, franchise boutiques and department stores contribute to the success of ESCADA as one of the world’s leading womenswear brands and to the glamorous image of luxury. Alongside a very exclusive Couture Line, an extensive range of accessories, with shoes, belts, bags, luggage and fashion jewellery, was also developed.
