The London Bridge Hospital is a private hospital situated in the heart of London. It is located on the South Bank overlooking the River Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge and directly adjacent to the London Bridge Intercity Rail and London Underground stations.

This award-winning hospital is owned and operated by HCA (Hospital Corporation of America). HCA is the largest provider of private healthcare facilities in the world. As well as The London Bridge Hospital these facilities include such well-known sites as The Harley Street Clinic and The Portland Hospital for Women and Children.

The hospital currently runs five operating theatres with plans to expand to seven. Out Patient services are also available for minor procedures and tests. The main building of the hospital is housed in what was once a Victorian tea-storage warehouse built in the 1860s on Chamberlain’s Wharf. Earlier warehouses built on the site were destroyed in the Great Fire of Tooley Street in the 1861. After the fire, these warehouses were replaced with the single building we see today. Following a redevelopment and refurbishment by architects Llewelyn Davies Weeks and consulting engineers Oscar Faber, The London Bridge Hospital opened to patients in 1986.
