The Imperial War Museum tells the personal accounts of war with over 10,700,000 exhibits to emphasize these stories. The four floors are filled with artefacts and reading material. Exhibits include conflicts through the years, the trenches, vehicles and aircraft, ministry of food and a very moving exhibition of the Holocaust. Lord Ashcroft Gallery shows the stories of bravery behind the Victoria Cross and George Cross. The displays of armoured cars and rockets etc. are also very popular features of the museum.
The Museum shop carries a very wide range of products including books, clothing and homewares. The Kitchen Front café, situated on the atrium, offers a range of pastries, teas and coffee.
